Cliff Graham's Lion of War series is powerfully resonating with readers through its intense and gritty depiction of epic biblical struggles. By addressing heart-felt issues that transcend time, Graham's work invites us into deeper introspection by igniting a desire for lasting change.
In the first study guide for the Lion of War series, Cover Me satisfies the desire for authentic life-transformation by taking us on a unique journey from Graham's historical fiction to biblical fact to personal faith. Written by a team of biblical counselors, pastors, and an award winning author, the Battle Book series guides us into self-discovery of high impact truth and practical application for the daily battles we face in the modern world.
Cover Me is a resource of Know the Covering, a ministry that exists "to awaken the hearts of men to fierce dependency on Christ." This study will show that God has a life of victory waiting for us through His Word and the power of His Spirit dwelling inside us. Out of this deep conviction of God's presence and power in our lives, we discover that the same power that defeated lions and enemies through the warriors of the Old Testament indwells and lives through us today. With our identity in Christ established we are finally humbled and able to genuinely serve those around us with ferocious love.

I picked up my copy of, "Cover Me" at Cliff Graham's table at Creation Northeast and have thoroughly enjoyed it. This book is a great study drawing from Psalms, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes. The authors also draw examples from the book, "Day of War." I have read the novel but I can see that it is not absolutely necessary to have done so.
One feature of the book that I cannot speak about is the QR codes that link you to online content. I tried these once but they were not up yet. I am finishing the book without using them but I look forward to revisiting it after they are available.
That being said, I have not yet finished the study but I am enjoying it enough that I bought two additional copies as gifts for some of my brothers (neither of which have read, "Day of War").
I understand that there are to be more in this series. I look forward to reading them and hope that they are as well done as this one.

I have initially looked over the material and see a good potential for use in the men's ministry being developed. I have enjoyed and been challenged by the Lion of War Series. The fact that most of our churches seem to deny or overlook spiritual warfare in the lives of believers and in the bodies of Christ looms as one of the biggest venerabilities we face. Yes, I agree that "Every day is a day of war" and all that all we do should be viewed with that focus. This book, I hope and pray, will clarify and elevate this biblical principle in our local ministry and of that of many other 'warriors'.

There are a lot of devotionals out there for men but too many of them are "estrogen" filled. They don't understand the unique battles men face. Finally, a man's devotional that scratches where men itch.
I've read devotionals all my life and "Cover Me" addresses issues and biblical concepts that hit men between the eyes. We are taking a group of 12 men through this devotional and its having an impact. Thanks for doing such a great job.

Even though this is geared for men, I as a woman loved it! It's about TOTAL dependence on GOD and how POWERFUL that is! This book will move you to see just how much God loves you and who you are in Him.....how HE sees you! It's very inspiring and the honesty and raw truth will stay with you.
